Dr.Althea PDRN Reju 5000 Cream
The '5000' is the claim: 5,000 ppm (0.5%) of PDRN, which Dr.Althea says is fermentation-derived rather than salmon. Sodium DNA sits at 14 of 34, a respectable spot for a cream.

Where the PDRN sits on the label
- The DNA ingredient on the label: Sodium DNA (ingredient 14 of 34).
- There is no preservative with a legal 1% cap on this list to measure against, so the label alone can't place the DNA above or below 1%.
- The brand's own claim: "PDRN 5,000 ppm (probiotic/fermentation-derived vegan PDRN)".
- No fragrance or parfum is listed.
How we read ingredient lists โ
Our read
Sodium DNA appears fourteenth, after centella water, panthenol and the emollients. That is higher than in most creams we checked, and it fits a 0.5% claim.
The source is where the story gets muddy. Dr.Althea describes this PDRN as vegan and fermentation-derived. The Amazon title calls it salmon PDRN and mentions ectoin, which isn't on the ingredient list. The ingredient name, Sodium DNA, is the same either way. If the source matters to you, the brand's own page is the better guide.
Good fit if
Someone who wants a PDRN cream with a stated dose and prefers a non-fish source.
Skip it if
You specifically want salmon-derived PDRN, the type most of the published research used.
We have not tested this product on skin. Everything above comes from its published ingredient list and the brand's own claims.

Where sources disagree
- The Amazon listing title mentions 'Salmon PDRN' and ectoin. Dr.Althea's own page describes the PDRN as fermentation-derived and vegan, and ectoin doesn't appear on any ingredient list we found. We go with the brand page and the ingredient list.
